Praise for this book

It's a romance that works well with two characters who rub each other in all the right and wrong ways, featuring some great tension and plenty of steaminess (boy howdy the scene in the pool!).

I thoroughly enjoyed reading How the Italian Claimed Her, the story was well-written and the chemistry between the characters was magnetic. Both of the characters have been through so much, they are ready to start fresh but not before overcoming some obstacles getting thrown their way. I loved the different settings in the story and that it takes place in the fashion world. I would highly recommend checking out the story and any other by the author, you won’t regret it! :)

Harlequin Junkie Top Pick - How the Italian Claimed Her by Jennifer Hayward is a glittering love story set in the fast paced fashion world which had me from page one. I think I loved Cristiano before the end of chapter one.

I can’t fault this story. I wouldn’t do anything different. Everything was there; excitement; humor; intense emotions and two stunning and likeable characters who have the most incredible slow burn. The plot is exciting; the drama flys and the world they are immersed in did the same to me’; complete immersion.

Literally could not put How the Italian Claimed Her down. I was hooked before the end of chapter one and I adored both Christiano and Jensen.

I loved these two. This book is up there with Jennifer Hayward's fantastic debut, The Divorce Party.

How the Italian Claimed Her is another wonderfully written story by Jennifer Hayward. Cristiano and Jensen are both very well written and their chemistry is palpable from the beginning. Their interactions draw you in immediately. The world of wealth and beauty created in this one is easy to “see” and what happens is easy to “feel”. It has been a very long time since I’ve read a story that was, in my humble opinion, this timely. The world we live in is so easily influenced by ones’ perceptions of everyone and everything, without really knowing what’s actually happening or why, with taking things at surface value instead of digging just a little deeper to see what’s below said surface. This story is one of betrayal and redemption, doubt and certainty, love and trust and ultimately believing in yourself. How the Italian Claimed Her, I believe, is my favorite so far by Jennifer Hayward. If you’re a fan of the genre and romance in general, you will never go wrong with one of her tales. Well done, Jennifer Hayward! Very, very well done!
